Not Me Monday 7.5.2010

image

I am not allowing my children to stay up past their bedtime, for the second night in a row, do they could go outside with Daddy and set off bottle rockets. Nope, they are all tucked in their beds with visions of sugarplums dancing in their heads.

I did not skip schooling today because I neglected to prepare the boys’ assignment sheets last night. Nope, I am always prepared and ready for the day and we always get our schoolwork done on time.

I also, most definitely, did not spend our usual school hours redesigning my blog and repeatedly telling my children to stop talking to me right now because I am trying to concentrate and cannot hear myself think. Nope, I always listen attentively to everything my children have to say. I would never dream of telling them to stop conversing with me.

Nope, not me!

  4. Oh, I never work on my blog and tell them to hush!

I came over to answer your question about the young men in uniform on my blog. Those are my two oldest boys. They just started New Mexico Military Institute in Jan. It is a boarding school for High School and Junior College. They are both headed for military careers so after lots of discussion we all decided they would leave our homeschool and start their adult journey a little early. Here are some posts I wrote about it.

  12. I, too, am stopping by as a blog walker. ;) I love this post! It made me laugh out loud. I think I take myself too seriously sometimes. Glad I'm not the only one who "never" does these things. :)

  13. Walking along , but had to stop and judge - What a horrible mom! I'd never work on blog headers while mumbling something like "well spread peanut butter on a cracker if we're out of bread cause I'm too busy right now". Nope. Not me. :)

  14. Hey there!I recognize your little face over there on the right! Hmmm. Maybe we should all have our faces on our blogs too. Waving, feeling silly that I didn't recognize ya. I think we've had TOS Forum discussions. :)
